In the context of the rapid technological advancement that characterizes our era, the protection of the digital rights of minors has become an essential concern in today’s society. Children and adolescents, being particularly vulnerable subjects in the digital environment, require special attention and safeguards to ensure their well-being and safety online. This article carefully explores the importance of considering Digital Law as an independent discipline, thus recognizing the need to provide adequate legal coverage and response to the actions of minors on the Internet. Fundamental in this context is the recognition of the best interest of the minor as a primary criterion that should guide any regulation related to their participation in the digital world, so different initiatives at both international and national level about the recognition of the digital rights of minors will be studied.
