Regarding the field of feminist studies, the research and problem identification carried out by some researchers has contributed to demonstrate and gain a deeper understanding of the existence of female authors within the comic field in Argentina. Therefore, this article will study both the comic as a suitable medium for the self–fictionalization of women and the representation of female bodies in the private sphere —either in couple relationships or in the tasks of family care. Two comics that dialogue with the Argentine and Latin American comic tradition will be studied: “Familia” by Júlia Barata and “Poncho fue” by Sole Otero.
