Abstract
This work recovers a article written by Finish environmental thinker Pentii Linkola (1932-2020), originally published in the book Can Life Prevail? A Radical Approach to the Environmental Crisis(2004). This forgottenarticle in environmental ethics provides a radical but grounded perspective on ecological problems that threaten the biosphere, as well as offer a unique vision into deep ecology. Having spent most of his life working as a professional fisherman and philosopher, today he is among the foremostexponents of the philosophy of deep ecologyin Finland. This work makes the lucid, challenging writing of Linkola available to the Spanish-speaking public for the first time.
