Résumé
Some brief information about Batya Gur‘s life opens this pages; after that, we will focus on her acclaimed books: the mystery novels. In order to explore the Israeli social reality, as it appears in her plays, we have analyzed Bethlehem Road Murder: A Michael Ohayon Mystery and Murder Duet: A Musical Case. To clarify this study, the selected information has been classified according to that one only characteristical in Israel (for example, the Palestinian conflict and the racism among different Jewish human groups, altogether those topics related to Western Word, such as Sexism and how important is the personal image in everyday life, among others.
