Abstract

The interview proposal was prepared in the last week of September 2020. Due to the pandemic context of those dates, the questionnaire was sent via email. During the month of October 2020, kindly, André Barbé Riesco, director and producer of documentary film, wrote the body of the document that is presented below. The theme of the interview focuses on the complexity of the creation and marketing of audiovisual products made up of elements of information specialized in religious themes, since this type of film pro-jects are usually accompanied by controversies of creative motivation and informative ethics. In the different sections of the interview, questions such as the economic difficul-ties of the cultural creation process, the socio-cultural aspects of the Galician region, the narrative difficulties of religious phenomenology, the journalistic coverage of news of an ecclesiastical nature, the process of ideologizing the mentality of each generation, the survival of ancestral traditions in the digital world, the message of “Fátima en Galicia” (documentary feature film) and the professional career of the interviewee
