Resumen

The purpose of this paper is to present a software learning programme called APRISA (Learning Open System Interconnections). This software focuses on subjects related to computer networks. Our tool provides a way to study and analyse communications under the OSI reference model. Since we have the necessary elements for the configuration and monitoring of each layer, it is possible to learn and implement the reference model. Several applications have been developed which enable us to check the correct performance of each layer. In this way, our tool aims to show the validated and useful set of rules comprising the model. Our tool is being very successfully implemented in different modules of communication areas in Computer Science
