Zusammenfassung

The demand for minimally invasive procedures in oral surgery, as well as for new biomaterials containing optimal properties for bone regeneration, is a growing need. Since the 1960s, dentine has been a promising bone substitute that meets the requirements of being autologous, with osseoinductive and osteoconductive capacity, thanks to the existence of bone morphogenetic proteins and type 1 collagen in its interior. In clinical practice, exodontics is a procedure that can provide the professional with one of the best biomaterials for regeneration therapies, finding in the tooth an excellent source. Combining subperiosteal tunneling as a guided bone regeneration (ROG) technique, with the use of the patient’s own tooth, we aim to present a promising technique with the presentation of the following case.
