Desarrollo de repositorios institucionales como estrategia nacional para el acceso abiertoEl caso de México

To meet the objectives that open science presents demands both of infrastructure and means. This study addresses the actions of promotion and enhancement of the scientific, technological and innovation infrastructure that Mexico has been creating. These actions are becoming possible due to the support callings made by CONACyT for the creation, development and consolidation of institutional repositories, which are part of a National Strategy and Policy of Open Access in the country. In this study, the callings celebrated in 2015 and 2016 for the development of institutional repositories of open access to the scientific, technological and innovation information, are analyzed. It also presents some data of the proposals that were profited in both callings, data that was obtained by means of consultation and of access to public information applications. Finally, a reflection is made on the efficiency, transparency and impact that the callings have generated.
