Résumé

The objective of this article is to analyze the perceptions of Pedagogy and Education Science students about the educational inclusion of university students with disabilities. A qualitative study was conducted under a descriptive phenomenological design using semi-structured interviews. The results indicate that disability is still considered from a medical-deficit paradigm. On the other hand, the students interviewed expressed a positive attitude towards their classmates with disabilities. However, the deficient infrastructure and the lack of teacher training in this area are the main barriers that, according to the participants, are faced by students with disabilities. Discussions point to the need to implement mechanisms that make it possible to eradicate exclusion, segregation and discrimination in Honduran higher education.
