Abstract

Bone atrophy of the jaws is nowadays a challenge that we frequently face in our dental clinics. More and more patients are requesting treatment by means of dental implants in cases in which their insertion is not easy, either because of long-standing edentulism or because of the failure of previous treatments that have left a scarce bone remnant. For this reason, it is important to be familiar with different surgical techniques that allow us to tackle different types of atrophy, being able to combine several in the same case, such as the one shown in this article. In this article we have used several procedures, achieving successful rehabilitation with implants in the long term (10 years of follow-up).
