Doctor by the Universidad de Sevilla with the thesis Implante de progenitores neurales en un modelo de lesión del sistema oculomotor 2015. Supervised by Dr. Ángel Manuel Pastor Loro, Dr. Rosa María Rodríguez de la Cruz, Dr. Esperanza Rodríguez Matarredona.
I obtained my PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Seville in 2015 studying the effects of neural progenitor cells implanted in a model of lesion of the oculomotor system. After that, I was hired as Postdoctoral Research Assistant (2016) to participate in open lines in neuronal excitotoxicity in a model of ALS, at the University of Cádiz. After that, I was granted with a Juan de la Cierva-Formación Fellowship to work on auditory neurophysiology and predictive coding at the Institute for Neuroscience of Castilla y Leon (INCYL), University of Salamanca. Nowadays, I am focused on the study of antitumoral peptides with therapeutic interest for glioblastoma as a team member of Neurobiochemistry group (INCYL) thanks to Junta de Castilla y Leon funding.
