INSTITUTO DE BIOLOGÍA FUNCIONAL Y GENÓMICA

El Instituto de Biología Funcional y Genómica (IBFG) es un centro mixto de investigación que comparten el Centro Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) y la Universidad de Salamanca. Su origen se remonta al Instituto de Microbiología-Bioquímica fundado en 1970 y actualmente tiene como objetivo el estudio de los mecanismos reguladores de las funciones celulares y su integración en el contexto del genoma a través de aproximaciones metodológicas avanzadas de biología celular, molecular y genómica.
