Abstract
Is it possible a non political reading of the role that is been played by the territory in the education and in which we could base our political decisions? The article tries to answer this question. After analysing the traditional focus between territory and educational policies, the authors introduce themselves in the fields of the socio-cultural anthropology where they find principles and concepts non strictly ideological that permit them to base pedagogically the necessary connection between territory and educational policy. The article concludes by pointing some of the risks and dangers contained by those approaches and proposing ways of thinking and acting for the developing of territorial policies in education.
