The principal aim of this study is the analysis of the annual migratory flows to Spain by source country between 1995 and 2007, from those countries less Developer than Spain. We apply a panel data model and we construct a general model and two specific models, one for each sex. Spain is a very interesting case since this country ha gone from being a migrant-sending country to being a country of immigration in the last twenty years and to being currently the main receiving country of Europe. The analysis shows that the main variables in explaining migration to Spain are the probability to find a job, the cost of emigrations and wages differences. We also find that visa requirements help to reduce immigration to Spain. We also explain the annual migratory flows to Spain by sex.
