Abstract
In the present work we try to know the perception about science that future teachers have, focusing on the analysis of false beliefs and pseudosciences. To this end, a survey based on the Encuesta de Percepción Social de la Ciencia y la Tecnología conducted by FECYT1 has been carried out. It has been answered by 383 future teachers. The results show that the beliefs in subjects like horoscopes, numbers and things that give luck, homeopathy or paranormal phenomena are present in similar rates to those that are in the general population. This knowledge can serve as a basis for the design of activities aimed to improve the training of future teachers.
