Abstract

This work tries to offer a union between Lev Vygotsky, his theory about constructivism, and one of the novels written by Ana María Matute, Paraíso inhabitado. This study involves some of the most important theories written by different scientific researchers, their vision about the wide sense of the novel, its deep meaning. From this point of view, we have tried to analize the different scientific theories and also the emocional component, how the main characters and Ana María Matute preserve a natural relationship that also involves people who read the novel, so as to implicate them in a new way of seeing a difficult life, but plenty of hope through the answers that Paraíso inhabitado can provide: How Literature is able to protect their readers in difficult situations, in spite of eternal helplessness and fight.
