Graphic novels have become a successful means of vindicating feminist postulates from the perspective of today’s women. This paper offers a brief overview of the representation of the female body in the works of young Italian graphic illustrators. The female body, so often exploited, is now the element around which the stories of illustrators such as Nicoz Balboa, who have been working in the field of illustration for many years, revolve.
