Faculty Member at the Department of Spanish and Latin American Literature, Director of the Master’s Degree in Spanish and Latin American Literature, Literary Theory, and Comparative Literature, and Deputy Director of the IEMYRhd (Institute for Medieval and Renaissance Studies and Digital Humanities). Founder and principal investigator of the Research Group GIR TePPeL (Technology and Power in Thought and Letters, https://teppel.usal.es). He has taught at institutions such as UVa, UIMP, or MMU and has served as an adjunct professor at various national and international universities (UOC, JMU, among others). He has been a visiting researcher at institutions including the University of Stockholm, and is a member of several international research networks. He also collaborates regularly with numerous master's programs at both national and international universities. His research focuses on digital literature, digital humanities, and transmediality. He has led various editorial and research projects at both the national and international levels. In addition, he has worked for more than 20 years in various media outlets (press, radio, digital magazines, etc.), and beyond his academic publications, he has authored numerous popular science articles and has been consulted as an expert by national and international media (El Periódico de Cataluña, Cadena SER, The New York Times, among others).
