Noteworthy the organisation and participation in a large number of international activities aimed at reducing the gender gap in STEM, including the "Women Researchers' Breakfast at the University of Salamanca", recognised by the University of Salamanca as a good practice in social responsibility and awarded the Gutenberg Award for scientific dissemination 2020 by CoxmoCaixa. She has participated as technological support and coordinator in more than 50 regional, national and international research projects, including MIH (https://mihproject.eu), VALS (https://virtualalliances.eu), the H2020 project WYRED (https://wyredproject.eu) and the European cooperation project with Latin America W-STEM (https://wstemproject.eu). She is currently participating in the CreaSTEAM project, focused on reducing the gender gap in STEM, and coordinator at USAL of the Erasmus + project SPADATAS (https://spadatas.eu), focused on security and privacy in academic data management at schools. Furthermore, she has participated in the definition and development of a large number of technological ecosystems, including the ecosystem to support the internal processes of the company Aqua Development Network and the knowledge management ecosystem of INAP (National Institute of Public Administration). In terms of scientific production, she is Associate Editor of the IEEE Revista Iberoamericana de Tecnologías del Aprendizaje and the Revista Facultad de Ingeniería. She has more than 170 international publications in scientific journals and conferences, many of them indexed in JCR and SCOPUS.
