Abstract

The article presents a critical review of inclusive education in Spain after the Declaration of Salamanca. The authors, based on the analysis made by other authors in the book published by the University of Salamanca (INICO, 2004), analyze the problems and difficulties faced in different regions of Spain. The conclusions offer "a realistic" vision of the existing barriers to generalize the educational change towards an integrated and inclusive school. The development of a "school for all" requires to overcome the problems indicated in this study
