Doctor by the Universidad de Salamanca with the thesis Complejidad visual y narrativa en el cine de fritz lang en relación con el cine oscuro-expresionista alemán 2019. Supervised by Dr. José Luis Molinuevo Martínez de Bujo, Dr. Antonio Notario Ruiz.

A graduate and PhD in Philosophy, he specialised in the branch of Aesthetics and Theory of the Arts, focusing on the Aesthetics of film, a field in which he carries out his teaching and research work. Throughout his career he has published articles in several research journals, including contributions to Communication & Society, Archivos de la Filmoteca, Fedro: revista de Estética y Teoría de las Artes and Fotocinema. He has also participated in collective works, such as Autonomía y valor del arte (Editorial Comares) or De esclavos y robots y esclavas (Libros de la Catarata). In 2018 he published his first book, Romanticismo, técnica y poder en la Arquitectura de Albert Speer (Editorial Ápeiron) and in 2022 he published his second, Fritz Lang y el expresionismo (Shangrila). He is currently a Margarita Salas postdoctoral researcher at the University of Salamanca (USAL) and is on a stay at the Institute of Philosophy (IFS) of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), where he is working on the relations between philosophy, cinema and society, within the framework of the Theoria cum Praxi (TcP) research group.
